Each Monday morning First FMC offers a couple of bags of groceries to anyone who is in need in the area. Registration begins at 10 am and continues until noon. A brief worship service is offered to all who come (but not required) which begins at 11:30 am. Food distribution begins shortly after noon. The Jesus Food Pantry is a ministry which emerged from the annual Thanksgiving Dinner and is led by the lay people of the church. Just as Christ welcomes to his table all who would come, so we welcome anyone in need of groceries and offer it free of charge.
