Founded in 1909, the First Free Methodist Church has become a beloved
part of the Near Eastside Community in Indianapolis. We are committed
to serving Christ and glorifying God by reaching people of all races
and economic classes in our neighborhood. First Church is a place
where all are
welcome. Come as you are because Christ's love knows no bounds. By

Mission of the Free Methodist Church
The mission of the Free Methodist Church is to make known to all people
everywhere God’s call to wholeness through forgiveness and holiness in
Jesus Christ, and to invite into membership and to equip for ministry
all who respond in faith.
The Free Methodist Church was founded for two
reasons: to "maintain the Bible standard of Christianity and preach the
Gospel to the poor."
